What is the National Institute of Genetics Supercomputer System (NIG Supercomputer)?

The National Institute of Genetics, Inter-University Research Institute Corporation, Research Organization of Information and Systems, updated its supercomputer system in March 2012. As a large-scale computer utilization site with genome analysis as its primary focus, the new supercomputer system provides Supercomputing System Services comprising leading-edge, large-scale cluster-type computers, large-scale memory-sharing computers, and high-capacity, high-speed disk devices.

    “lustre size” represents the current usage, the total disk space, the percentage used.
    “lustre file” represents the current usage, file creation maximum amount, the percentage used.
    “quata size” represents the disk usage which is required by large-scale application, the total disk space, the percentage used.
    The unit of size is terabyte.

    Upon job submission, please refer to a mixed situation.
    Subject to availability, a new job, there is a possibility that wait time occurs.
