[Maintenance] 13-19 March 2026: Regular Maintenance
The regular maintenance of the NIG supercomputer will be carried out during the period stated below, in accordance with the legally mandated power outage at NIG.
The supercomputer will be unavailable throughout the maintenance period.
Period
From midday on 13 March to 24:00 on 19 March 2026 (24-hour clock)
Work schedule
- Friday, 13 March, midday : Supercomputer outage begins
- Saturday, 14 March : Legally mandated power outage
- Sunday, 15 March – Wednesday, 18 March : Regular maintenance work on the supercomputer
- Thursday, 19 March : Spare day
Main Work Description
- Perform an overall upgrade with
apt upgradein Ubuntu Linux. - Updates to software outside the control of
aptwill be published in ‘software update information’ as soon as they are determined.
Notes
- All running jobs will be deleted, so please resubmit jobs after the regular maintenance.
